Nothing in life will be lucrative and rewarding until and unless you are ready to take risks. If we are capable enough to live a life like a billionaire why are we limiting ourselves to the life of a millionaire? Don’t be afraid to fail because in old IQ tests people were only given 9 dots and were instructed to draw 5 lines with a pencil, that too without lifting the pencil. Then only he or she would be recognized as a genius. Don’t be afraid to think outside the box and fall but remember dreams without goals are just dreams. Remember we are humans we will fail at one point or the other, we will squander and most probable we will embarrass ourselves. It is inevitable. We all want to succeed but do we have what it takes to face failure? If we don’t fail we are not trying anything new because to get something you never had you have to do something you’ve never done before.
Imagine we are in our death beds tomorrow and in the vicinity are the ghosts that are trying to articulate, portraying your unfulfilled potential. The ghosts of ideas you never acted upon, the ghosts of talent you did not use. Those ghosts exasperated and disenchanted telling you, “We came to you with anticipation that you could give us life but you made us fade away together.” Ask yourself, how many ghosts are there lingering around you in your death bed, asking you questions. Everything is worth a shot. Focus on what you have rather than just focusing on what you don’t have.
Sometimes when we read the word leaders we begin to question our capabilities. We feel we will never be like them. But they didn’t become the leaders that they were overnight. They embarked on a long journey of patience, failure, denials, little victories, and detours to become the leaders. But people fail to see the journey and just focus on the final outcome, their accomplishments.
People you meet, people you love, and the faith that you have are going to characterize who you become. Everyone has something inside that differentiates them from the rest. Remember once Bill Gates, Nick Vujicic, Nelson Mandela were also simple people like you. But today they have become people’s role models. You can also be someone’s role model. If they can then why can’t we? The only limits you experience in life are those created by you or those imposed by others. So have a little faith in yourself and take a step forward. Have patience because something great is not easily achieved.
Never hold back and try to hide your inner light just because it is different. Remember that you are different to create a difference. Choose to live the way you want to live, not how others want you to live. You are the main character in your life. If the main character is lost, everything will be lost. I know it won’t be easy and there will be a lot of hindrances on the way, but it takes only one courageous step forward. Challenge yourself to take a step forward every day. There is no fixed day or time waiting for you to start. You have to create it yourself and get started and drive through the way you have chosen to reach your dreams and goals.
